The super brand Hummer is no longer an American brand. It was today purchased from GM by a Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Corp. Tengzhong will get a 80% stake in the buyout, while a Hong Kong investor Suolang Duoji will hold a 20% share. The GM Executive James Taylor, will however retain the position of Chief Executive Officer.
