Angelica Kitchen, New York City

Rating - 2.91 / 5.0

This vegetarian spot boasts of some healthy offerings like tofu, tempeh and seitan based dishes, influenced by Japanese cuisine. I went here yesterday with my friend. We were warmly greeted and offered a seat. Skimmed through the menu for some 10 minutes. I finally decided to try the Tempeh Reuben sandwich. Tempeh is a highly protein rich ingrediant just like tofu. My friend tried out the Open face Tempeh sandwich.

The food arrived in like 10-15 minutes. My Tempeh sandwich was okay. Sliced bread with tempeh, lettuce, and some tofu based Russian dressing. Tastewise if you ask me, it wasnt very special. But yea it was very nutritious for sure. My friends plate looked good with diced beet and mushroom sauce topped on the Tempeh. Later I tried out the Kukicha tea. This was something new and unique for me... It was a sugarless black tea. Nothing special here, but after coming home I checked out Wikipedia and found out that it has very low caffeine content and is a powerful anti-acidic antioxidant.

Long story cut short, you should visit this place for nutritious healthy vegetarian foods. One more point to remember is this is a Cash-Only joint.

Dell Latitude Z laptop buzz

I recently came across articles about Dell's newest laptop - the Latitude Z series. One new feature is its ability to wirelessly recharge. Check out this CNET link. This definitely reduces the clutter of the charging adapter, wires etc.

However, with a price tag of £1,319, it is a shocker price for the casual buyer. But with a beautiful design, super portability and kool features, this laptop could be a great buy.

Slipper Room, New York City

Rating - 4.09 / 5.0

I remember how a couple o' years back, I stumbled across this place unknowingly. And I was like... wow, this is the shit man! An awesome place to watch live burlesque shows. Infact I just thought of reviewing this place when I was going through my collection of photos and videos.

Well to start with, you get to feast your eyes with hot brunettes making those sexy seductive teases, all while taking off a piece of clothing one at a time. The best part is when the performer strips down to mere pasties and rotates them to the beats of music... I remember there was this performer Darlinda who was a tall buxom, charming all guys with her seductive steps. The performers are introduced by some comic host who spins off dry cheesy humor in between the shows.

If you're in the city you must watch atleast one burlesque show here for that unique experience... 100% guaranteed fun ;)

Duffs, Brooklyn review

Rating - 4.17 / 5.0

* What a place to be! Super cheap drinks and beer I mean 3 bucks PBR and $1 during happy hour. Best place to enjoy classic cult rock & metal music.
* The walls are decorated with posters of B-grade slasher movies, exposing girls, Rock & Metal bands, Gothic events etc...
* They showed mild softcore porn late at nite... wondering if its shown everyday :)
* The restroom is for "Bastids" & "Bitches" only.
* Kool collection of metal songs in jukebox.
* Has a big 'wheel of misfortune' for a chance to win different drinks.
* Super kool, heavily tattooed chatty bartender.
* You could see some guys headbanging to the rock beats.
* The owner is a tall rockstar personality guy.

Wonderful place. Wonderul experience. Will come back.
